Fairfax Meadow is the market leading catering butcher in the UK. It became the first butcher in the UK to achieve EFSIS accreditation and EC approved facilities.
The company serves the food industry with around 26,000 tonnes of fresh, chilled and frozen meat per annum – including 52 million portion controlled products. It won the 2011 "“Catering Butcher of the Year” Award".
Fairfax Meadow serves a broad range of customers within the food service industry, from multi-site national pub and restaurant chain operators to chain hotels and single sites. With a flexible approach to its diverse and complex customer base Fairfax Meadow supplies over 5,000 customers per year, taking 6,000 orders per week, all of which are produced in line with agreed specifications and delivered through its own fleet of 73 dual temperature vehicles. Products are supplied on a just in time basis.
Fairfax Meadow has its own product development kitchen within its main Derby site allowing customers and their innovation teams to work in conjunction with the company's own chef and expert butchers to develop new meat and value added menu options.
