Berryworld
Berryworld is the leading supplier of berries to the UK's supermarket industry. The company was formed in 1994 to specialise in soft fruit and is owned by fresh produce distributors Poupart Ltd.
Berryworld accounts for over 30 per cent of soft fruit supplies to UK multiple retailers, selling over 30,000 tonnes of soft fruit annually. The company currently represents growers covering more than 2,500 acres of soft fruit production in the UK and other countries in Europe, North and South America, the Middle East and South Africa. Global sourcing ensures year round supply, and enables us to offer the widest selection of berries and currants. Volumes of imported and home grown fruit are roughly equal making BerryWorld a major supplier all year round. BerryWorld has also recently entered the prepared berry market, preparing all year round berry packs that can be consumed on the go.
