Argent Group Europe
Argent Group Europe was founded in 1997 and is the holding company for a number of business interests in the food and food related industries. The Group has its head office in London and its managing director is co founder David Gray. Whilst the majority of the Group’s operations are based in the United Kingdom, there is also a manufacturing facility in New Zealand, and procurement and trading offices in Spain and the Netherlands.
The Group was originally formed in conjunction with private equity partners Cinven to purchase a number of assets from Hillsdown Holdings Plc and whilst the names of many of the companies acquired still exist in the Group, their profiles and structures are markedly different. The Group today has a turnover approaching £500million and 910 employees.
The Group is now owned by Fletcher Bay Investment Company Limited, an investment company formed by David Gray, and AGEL's senior management, which completed a management buy-out in March 2010.
This site is designed simply to enable the Group’s differing operations to be more easily identified as being a part of Argent Group Europe and provides access to individual company websites where appropriate.
